Residents and members of the Sea Point CAN have been working on improving the library grounds, have planted a food garden, painted a mural and are partnering with the Gugulethu CAN to share plants, resources and knowledge. All the food grown in the garden is given to food insecure members of the community.
A small group are volunteering to improve the space and help out others. It shows a sense of community in an area which is often divided and disconnected.
