CITY CONVERSATIONS AN INITIATIVES BY SACN IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SALGA

The South African Cities Network (SACN) held a City Conversations Stakeholder Engagement on the 25th March at the 2015 SALGA’s National Members Assembly (NMA). City Conversations is an online magazine portal which will be hosted on the SACN website. The stakeholder engagement was intended at mobilising the various stakeholders about the objectives and target audience for City Conversations. In addition, the initiative is linked to local government and SACN partner associations. City Conversations aims to profile South African cities primarily but is not limited to SACN’s member cities. City Conversations will be engaging non-traditional audiences, through multiple engagement channels which consist of a quarterly publication, monthly online magazine as well as a bi-weekly newsletter.
